LOMBARDI ASSOCIATES was founded by Tracey Lombardi, RN-BC, BA, CCM, CNLC, CNLCP, MSCC in 2005 to provide Professional Case Management, Legal Nursing Consulting, File Review, Medical Cost Projections, Life Care Planning/Review and Medicare Set-Asides. She is a Board Certified Case Manager, Certified Nurse Life Care Planner, Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and Certified Medicare Set Aside Consultant who has vast experience working with claims adjusters, attorneys and other shareholders. She has aided tens of thousands of injured individuals with compassion.
After graduating with a BA in Psychology in 1987, Ms. Lombardi pursued a career in nursing. She began her nursing career in a medical-surgical surgical unit as a staff nurse before quickly becoming a Certified Emergency Room Nurse. Prior to founding Lombardi Associates, she worked as a field case manager progressing to NJ Regional Manager of a large national case management firm over a large field and telephonic case management staff.
Under Ms. Lombardi’s guidance and with the addition of key staff, Lombardi Associates successfully expanded services to also include Vocational, Disability Management and Crises Response. She continues to assure optimal quality to each and every individual case.
Anthony has 27 years of Case Management experience in Worker’s Compensation, No-Fault, Longshore, Reinsurance, Liability, STD/LTD, Special Needs Trusts, Mental Health Claims, is a trained crisis consultant, Certified in Case Management, Certified Disability Management Specialist, and holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Certified in corporate crisis response and acute traumatic stress management.
As director of the Northeast Region for Concentra Medical Centers Outcome Assurance, Debbie was involved occupational health including injury/illness, pre-placement services, drug testing along with chain of command issues and physical examinations. She directed urgent care, primary care, wellness to include vaccinations, travel and physicals, Physical Therapy, and specialty services including pain management, spine, neurology, and orthopedics. Instrumental in the development and management of the Outcome Assurance Dept. for Concentra Medical Centers. The department was responsible for handling all internal referrals to include all specialist, diagnostic testing and physical therapy. As Office Manager for Orthopedic Spine Surgical Practice, Debbie handled the coordination and outcomes of workers compensation patients, oversaw the surgical recommendations, authorization and scheduling processes in the office, and interfaced with adjusters and/or nurse case managers as well as with the office staff. Her specialty services also included pain management. She maintained reinforcements for high dollar pain medications including pain management contracts, randomized toxicology screens and chain of command.
Barry has been serving in a consultative/account management role for the past 14 years. Relationship driven, and committed to quality, he has engaged all stakeholders involved in a claim, and is known to ensure service at a high level. The past 7 years, Barry has coordinated a variety of cost containment services in the Worker’s Compensation arena. His style is less about selling, and more about learning and understanding the unique needs of each claims professional and company.
